We form US companies for people who live outside the United States. That means the state filing in Wyoming or Delaware, an EIN without a Social Security Number, a registered agent, and the first year of paperwork after that. We're not a law firm or an accountancy, and when a question needs one, we'll tell you.

01Why this exists
Why did we build BaseAcross?
If you're in Lahore or Lagos or Lviv and you order a US company online, you're paying someone you can't visit for something you can't inspect, and it's hard to check the price too. Most providers quote a fee with “plus state fees” written underneath. You find out the real number at checkout, or a year later on a renewal you don't remember agreeing to.
So we built this the other way round. You see the state fee on the plan, on the order review and on the receipt, at exactly what the state charges us. We email you before any renewal is taken. Every price on the site comes from the same catalogue the order form uses, so a page can't quote a number the checkout doesn't charge. And the two states we file in are the ones we'd pick for ourselves, with the reasons shown right where you choose.
Filing in Wyoming and Delaware only is deliberate. For a founder who doesn't live in the US, they're the two states worth being in, and we'd rather know two states well than fifty a little. Every other state still has a page showing what it would cost you and when it might be the right choice anyway.
02On the record
What won't we do?
We're new, so we can't point to a long list of customers. What we can do is be specific about where we draw the line. That's harder to fake, and easier to hold us to.
We don't give legal or tax advice
We're a filing agent. We can tell you what a form asks for and what a state charges. Anything that depends on your own situation is a question for a lawyer or an accountant, and we'll tell you that instead of guessing.
We don't quote a price that hides the state fee
You see it on the plan, on the order review and on the receipt, at exactly what the state charges us. The number you see before checkout is the number you pay.
We don't renew anything without telling you
We email you before any renewal is taken. Nothing bills you a year later because of a box you don't remember ticking.
We don't say a name is free before anyone has checked
The order form never tells you a name is clear when nobody has looked. A person checks the state register before we file, and if the name clashes, we come back to you at no extra cost.
We don't sell you a filing you don't owe
Since 14 August 2026, a company formed in the United States owes no beneficial ownership report to FinCEN. Some providers still list it as a feature. We took it off ours.
We don't make up proof
You won't find an invented review, a rounded-up customer count or a badge we didn't earn here. When we have something real to show, we'll show it with a date.
03Who does the work
Who will you be dealing with?
Forming a company isn't mysterious. It's a set of forms with rules, filed in the right order with offices that keep their own hours. We answer you in writing, so there's always a record of what we said. On Premium you get a named specialist, and it's the same person each time.
Before you order, you can reach us at [email protected]. After that, it's through your dashboard. We reply within two business days on Starter, one business day on Standard, and the same business day on Premium. If your question is really one for a lawyer or an accountant, we'll tell you so.
