Your documents are the most sensitive thing we hold. Here's what we do with them.

To form and run your company, we hold its records and the details of who owns what. We don't ask for your passport. This page explains how we store what we do hold, who can see it and when it's ever shared, based on how the product is actually built rather than on a badge.

Inside BaseAcross, the person handling your filing can see the documents that filing needs. We never share identity documents with anyone outside, except a bank or agency that requires them, and only when you ask us to introduce you.

What will we never do with your data?

Sell, rent or share your data with anyone for marketing.

Use your identity documents for anything other than the filing or introduction you asked for.

Keep a password for you.

Show a security badge we didn't earn. If we ever have an independent audit to show, it'll be here with a date.

Inside BaseAcross, the person handling your filing, and only the documents that filing needs. On your side, the people you've given a role in your dashboard. Outside, nobody, unless you ask us to introduce you to a bank or agency that needs it.

In private storage on Cloudflare R2. Files are encrypted, kept in a folder only your company uses, and never have a public link. When you download one, the link is made for you and stops working shortly after.

No. You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email, or with your Google account if you prefer. There's no password of yours for us to store, leak or reset.

Yes. The company's owner can ask us in writing, and we delete what we're not required to keep. Before anything is removed, we tell you what a filing agent has to keep about a filing it made, and for how long. Any passport we collected in the past is deleted automatically 30 days after the company was filed, without anybody asking. The privacy notice has the full detail.
